LPC-Associate Supervision

Reaching the Associate status is a major career milestone! Dr. McCullough is pleased to offer fully virtual supervision services to Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates, (previously LPC-Interns). Supervision may encompass various intentional, growth focused activities aimed at encouraging professional insight and enhancing your emotional intelligence. Individual virtual supervision, as well as virtual group supervisions are provided in a manner that facilitates varying levels of professional growth. The following will be required to before beginning the supervision process; 

  • Completed Supervision application.

  • Acknowledgement of Supervision Guidelines.

  • Current Resume

  • Copy of Temporary (associate level) license if available.

  • Professional Liability/Malpractice insurance

  • NCE results

  • 2 professional references.

  • Documentation of hours completed (if switching supervisors).

Associates will be able to share these documents via secure online portal.

Individual Supervision 

1-1 supervision services are tailored to fit your individual needs. Here we focus on your progress, clinical experience, as well as your goals as you move forward to full licensure. When choosing a supervisor, you need training and support clinically, as well as professionally. Dr. McCullough is here to provide a well rounded approach to your supervision experience.

Group Supervision & Support

Monthly group supervision is focused on providing you with a unique experience. Sometimes, the company of like minded individuals with similar mindsets is needed to support you along your journey to full licensure. Group supervision is focused on providing monthly training on topics most relevant to associates and professionals in the mental health arena. *Group supervision is required for associates.

Supervision Starting Guide

Sometimes knowing where to start on this journey can be confusing. Each Associate will be provided with a supervision guide, that supports you in thinking critically about where you are, goal setting, and getting focused on your work as a practitioner.

EQi 2.0 Assessment (optional)

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is an important quality for therapists. Besides helping you understand and communicate with clients, it is also a leadership skill that can improve your professional as well as personal relationships. This assessment is optional and offered to Associates at a discounted rate.

Supervision Investment

Individual supervision is priced a flat rate of $300 per month for the required 4 hours of supervision. For Associates operating their own practice, additional fees will apply. Please reach out to learn more about Associate supervision details and requirements.
